Facebook’s new Video metrics make it easier to understand what is working and what is not!
For example, as a Page owner, you will be able to see how many people started watching your video, video views, unique video views, the average duration of the video view and audience retention.
These new metrics are designed to help you learn what’s resonating with people and determine how to more effectively create and promote your videos on Facebook.
For example, if you see a high percentage of people dropping off your video at the 2 minute mark, you may want to 1) cut the length of the video or 2) find out the subject matter at that point of the video and remove it.
In fact, Facebook’s Page Insights View will dig even deeper. According to Facebook… “These new metrics will also allow you to see the number of views that reached certain points in a video — 25%, 50%, 75%, 95% and 100%.
